Holds sunglasses over light to inspect lenses for matched color shading and scratches. Places sunglasses under microscope or in front of light projector to detect lens distortion, indicated by blurring of instrument crosshairs or of letters on projected chart. Returns rejected sunglasses to assembly workers and explains rework required.
