Operates multiple-blade sawing machine to straighten edges of rough lumber and cut lumber into boards of prescribed widths: Starts machine. Lays rough board on edger table and spaces saw blades so that board of highest quality will be cut from rough board. Adjusts power-feeding mechanism to thickness of board. Pushes board into feed rollers which force board between saws that straighten edges of board. May replace dull saw blades.
