Off bears jointer machine that smooths, squares, and applies glue to edges of veneer sheets preparatory to splicing: Off bears veneer sheets from discharge end of machine and stacks sheets on worktable. Examines edges of veneer sheets for gluing and stacks sheets requiring more glue onto pallet to be re-fed through jointer machine. Mixes powdered glue with water, using electric mixer, and pours glue into reservoir of jointer machine. May off bear flitches of hardwood veneer from jointer machine and stack flitches on cart.
