Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in washing, silvering and painting by hand, cleaning, and inspecting glass used in manufacture of mirrors: Inspects washed, silvered, and painted glass to detect faulty wash-water or chemical solutions, and uneven paint, silver, or copper coatings. Observes drying-oven thermometer to verify specified oven temperature. Weighs and measures chemical ingredients according to formula to prepare tin, silver, and copper solutions and reducing agents. Pours or combines chemicals in mixing tank, and transfers solution to storage tank. May wash, silver, paint, clean, or polish mirrors. Performs other duties as described under Supervisor (any industry) Master Title.
