Represents Bureau of Customs in meetings with individuals, representatives of private industry, government agencies, and in court. Recommends and approves personnel appointments, promotions, transfers, and reassignments within district. Directs submission of customs receipts and preparation of accounts as required by law and procedures of Bureau.
