Coordinates clerical, record keeping, accounting, and marketing activities. May purchase nursery stock for resale and sell gardening accessories, such as sprays, garden implements, and plant nutrients and be known as Manager, Retail Nursery (agriculture; retail trade). May grow horticultural plants under controlled conditions hydroponically and be known as Manager, Hydroponics Nursery (agriculture).
