Peter Zabroski earned his place in Hartford High history on the pitcher's mound where he dominated batters for four years. His HPHS career earned run average of 1.14 is the all-time record. In 1974, his senior season, he led the team to the Capitol District Conference championship for the second straight year, posting an earned run average of 0.32 for the season.
Pete, a member of the National Honor Society, graduated with high honors in 1974, receiving the Wickham Medal and the Jacob Fox scholarship. He won a scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, where he was admitted to the Notre Dame Monogram Club, graduating in 1978.
Pete coached varsity baseball at Prince Tech from 1979 to 1982 and has been coaching AAU Team Connecticut Baseball since 1997. In 1999, he coached the AAU 16 and Under national champions.
