There's nothing like old acquaintance to restore youth and beauty. In minutes, we're transformed, kids again, gathered under the clock on Hopkins Street or hollering for the team from the bleachers or hearing our beloved principal bellow, "There'd better not be anybody smoking in there," outside the boys' room.
We'll be remembering our departed friends and trading stories about teachers, parents, kids and grandkids. The tab is $95 per person. If you're coming from out of town, the Marriott is offering us a package for $99.95 per night, with breakfast. We'll be posting details on a link from our web page, www.stepfour.com/hphs64.
To make your reservation, send a check by September 15 payable to HPHS Class of 1964 to Paul McBride, 3153 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, CT 06111. If you use email, print your email address on the check. Also, get on the phone to classmates so we can get a big turnout.
